EnterTeenment recently caught up with Katherine who plays Jake. We asked how she landed the role on "Young Americans". We learned that she was modeling at the time and the president of her modeling agency knew Steven Antin, the creator of the series, so he introduced Katherine to Steven. She tested for the part in New York, then went out to LA for the show. When asked who she bonded with first, she quickly answered Ian.

"We met each other first while we were testing, and started chatting for two hours, then I was like "What is your name again?" She mentioned that she does keep in touch with all of the cast while not taping, and said that the cast was all getting together that night to watch the show. Finally, when asked who she admires, Katherine said, "I love the work of Sean Penn, Jack Nicholson, Robert Duvall, Johnny Depp, Faye Dunaway, Lauren Bacall, Glenn Close and Jessica Lange. There are so many of them, and there are so many wonderful actors out there, it's so hard to pinpoint. I would love to work with all of them if I could."
