It's not your average ex-model who could claim, with a perfectly straight face, that he's read way too much Nietzsche and get away with it. But Ian Somerhalder, 21, clearly expects to get away with all that and then some. He calls Young Americans, the prep-school series on which he plays faculty brat Hamilton Fleming, "very Shakespearean, very Twelfth Night." And he's sort of right: The show features such typically Elizabethan plot devices as star-crossed (and cross-dressed) lovers.
